PharmaApprentice Project

PharmaApprentice Project

28 June 2022

Pharmaniaga successfully launched its PharmaApprentice Project, which took place at Laman Kayangan, Seksyen 7, Shah Alam, on 28 June 2022. As part of Pharmaniaga’s sustainability initiatives, the project, in collaboration with Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri (JPN) Selangor, aims to develop the potential of 33 selected orphaned students aged between 14 and 16 who have lost their parents due to the COVID-19 virus. They were selected from seven secondary schools in Selangor. Under the PharmaApprentice Project, the students will undergo a potential and well-being assessment before being provided with leadership and team-building programmes, personalised academic coaching, soft skills training, financial assistance, and continuous performance monitoring. We hope this project will encourage the students to follow their passion and help them thrive with flying colours in their education. The event was attended by Datuk Zulkarnain Md Eusope, Group Managing Director; En. Zulkifli Jafar, Group Executive Director; Pn. Rohayati Abd Hamed, Director of JPN Selangor; Datin Nor Faridah A. Bakar, Deputy Director of Learning Sector, as well as other senior officials of Pharmaniaga and JPN Selangor.
